Vox Populi PH (under the Rebo Press Book Publishing imprint) will be a co-exhibitor of the National Book Development Board at the largest book fair in the world. The 73rd Frankfurter Buchmesse (Frankfurt Book Fair) will be held on October 20-24, 2021.
The trade fair, which features global publishers and authors, is supported by the NEUSTART KULTUR programme of the government of Germany. Government assistance is passed on to the exhibitors, resulting in lower fees for the exhibition stands. The Frankfurter Buchmesse 2021 has also opened its doors to exhibitors who will not be able to travel to Germany during this time through the Digital Exhibitor program.
Vox Populi PH, a youth writing organization and independent publisher, will be joining hands with other independent and mainstream publishers from the Philippines, including Xavier University Press, University of the Philippines Press, and the Sentro ng WIkang Filipino (UP Diliman). In addition, the NBDB has reached out to local publishers in the past months, intending to exhibit 100 books at the country stand at the Frankfurter Buchmesse 2021.
The current roster of published authors from Vox Populi PH include Annalyn C. Biagtan, Maria Kristelle C. Jimenez, Karl Patrick Wilfred M. Suyat, Julienne Maui C. Mangawang, Marius D. Carlos, Jr., and Jay-ar G. Paloma. The current titles bound for the Frankfurter Buchmesse 2021 are Aftermath (Drawn-Out), Anatomiya ng Pandemya, Eclipse, Incarnations (New Edition), Karl, Not Marx, and postmodern musings.
